Live wedding & event painting

A visual element, a part of the experience, or a gift with lasting value.

A timeless keepsake for the newlyweds

Live wedding painting is a unique way to capture one of the most important moments of your wedding and transform it into an original work of art. Most often, it depicts the ceremony or a posed moment from your wedding photoshoot.

How it works?

At the beginning, we’ll choose the scene you’d like the painting to capture. On your wedding day, I’ll either join your photographer during the photoshoot or take my own reference photo on location – for example, during the ceremony. This photograph then serves as the foundation for the composition and atmosphere of the painting.
The painting begins live at your wedding and gradually takes shape throughout the day. The composition, key forms, colours and light are built up step by step. The process becomes a natural part of the celebration, allowing guests to watch the artwork come to life and creating an engaging visual experience as well as a conversation piece.

The time spent painting on your wedding day depends on the chosen canvas size:
The 40 × 50 cm format takes approximately 5 hours to paint.
The 50 × 70 cm format takes approximately 7 hours to paint.
During the wedding, the main part of the painting takes shape – its composition, atmosphere and overall foundation. At the end of the day, the painting is symbolically presented to the newlyweds, a moment that can be captured by the photographer. I then take the artwork back to my studio for its final completion, where I refine the details, build up layers of colour, allow the painting to dry and apply a protective varnish to ensure its longevity.
Once completed, the painting is delivered to your address as a timeless keepsake of your wedding day – a work of art that captures not only how the moment looked, but also its emotion and atmosphere.

Process of painting

1. Photo

I’ll attend the ceremony or join your photographer during the couple’s photoshoot, where I’ll take several reference photos and together we’ll choose the best one for the painting.

2. Painting

The live painting process takes approximately 5–7 hours, depending on the canvas size.

3. Presentation

At the end of the evening, the painting is symbolically presented to the newlyweds for photographs. I then take it back to my studio, where I refine the final details and apply a protective varnish. Once fully dry, the finished painting is delivered to the newlyweds’ address.
